Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Leader to join our growing Columbus team, building design/HVAC experience, ideally with a PE.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for large central cooling and heating plants, including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, large bore piping, and control systems
- Perform engineering calculations such as heat and mass balance, code compliance analysis, hydraulic modeling, energy analysis, and pipe stress analysis
- Provide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members, including electrical engineers and designers
- Take initiative in completing design and analysis tasks for project submission packages, which include drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and design narratives
- Collaborate with project managers, team members, other disciplines, and external consultants to address design coordination and issues
- Participate in construction administration by attending meetings, reviewing shop drawings, conducting site visits, and documenting progress
Requirements:
- Possess strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer with over 7 years of experience in engineering design and construction administration
- Proficient in designing using Autodesk Revit for Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Experienced in conducting fieldwork and documenting existing engineering conditions

- Power distribution
- Fire alarm design
- Electrical site plans
- Electrical calculations
- Field investigation
- Reviewing submittals
- Knowledge of NEC and standard industry design practices
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with institutional infrastructure systems
- Experience with ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code
