Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QuickBooks Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. This in-person position is vital to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring regulatory compliance across our accounting processes.

• Job Type: Full-Time
• Pay Range: $25 $35 per hour (based on experience)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (flexible start between 6:00 AM 4:00 PM)
• Location: Onsite Oak Park, MI

Key Responsibilities

• Record and post daily financial transactions
• Maintain both physical and electronic job folders
• Professionally handle and direct incoming phone calls
• Complete and file tax withholding and quarterly tax forms
• Prepare financial statements and internal reports
• Process accounts receivable/payable and manage payroll
• Track project progress and ensure office workflow efficiency
• Utilize and maintain financial software: QuickBooks, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience

• 24 years of professional bookkeeping experience
• 24 years of hands-on QuickBooks usage
• Solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping (A/P & A/R)
• Payroll and tax filing experience
• Skilled in posting, calculating, and managing financial data

Technical Competence

• Strong data entry and spreadsheet management (Excel)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Effective written and verbal communication in English

Other Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Valid Michigan Drivers License
• U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
