Hydraulic Design Engineer

Position: Hydraulic Design Engineer 
Location: On-site in Rockford, IL
Salary Range: $80K - $125K (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of cartridge valves and related hydraulic components
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, manufacturability, and reliability
• Apply hydraulic systems knowledge to support broader engineering initiatives
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation
• Conduct design reviews and support prototype testing and validation
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in hydraulic design, especially cartridge valves
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems and fluid power principles
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
