Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Private Duty Nurse
Location: La Plata, MD
Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment)
Pay Range: $27.50-$35.50 hourly (Pay based on experience) *
Hours: Full Time or Part Time Available
Contract Length: 2025-2026 School Year

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Be willing to obtain state licensure
• 2 years as an LPN with pediatric experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to students within the school setting in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
• Administer medications, tube feedings, tracheostomy care, oxygen therapy and other prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to support the student’s educational participation and inclusion.
