Financial Analyst | Fremont, MI

Salary Range: $66,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and production efficiencies.
• Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts for manufacturing operations.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including P&L statements, COGS analysis, and operational dashboards.
• Conduct profitability analysis for products, production lines, and customer segments.
• Evaluate capital expenditure requests and perform post-implementation ROI analysis.
• Monitor inventory valuation, turns, and obsolescence, identifying areas for improvement.
• Support cost reduction initiatives and process improvements within the manufacturing plants.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis, with a focus on manufacturing KPIs.
• Experience with cost accounting principles, variance analysis, and inventory valuation in a production environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel for data extraction and manipulation.
• Ability to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts for operational expenditures and production costs.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain dynamics, and their financial implications.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SAP FICO or other major manufacturing ERP systems
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or other operational efficiency methodologies
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost accounting and variance analysis
