Job Description

We are seeking an adventurous Executive Chef with a teacher mentality and a desire to lead, train, and develop a staff with limited culinary skills or management experience. You will hold responsibility for the entire culinary operation of 2 locations in Anchorage, AK . Strong leadership and cost control skills are the most valuable tools for success in this position.

Annual Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 + 10% bonus + Comprehensive Benefits Package + $5,000 Relocation Assistance

Executive Chef Qualifications:

• 2+ years of Executive Chef experience is required.
• Knife skills and a culinary degree are required for this position.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a talent for motivating and developing teams.
• Expertise in managing kitchen operations, budgets, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

• Ensure culinary production stays in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure proper culinary standards and techniques are in place for the preparation of food items.
• Train, lead, and motivate a culinary staff.
• Maintain accurate records and effective cost control methods.
• Develop and maintain effective and mutually beneficial relationships to ensure a successful operation.
• Interact with guests daily.
• Develop food and labor targets.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
