JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Dance Teacher at Barron Dance, you’ll bring our dynamic curriculum to life, teaching students a range of dance styles—think ballet, jazz, tap, or hip-hop—with skill and passion. Whether it’s perfecting technique or working in our seasonal recitals, you’ll guide kids and teens to step confidently into their potential. This is your chance to shape the next generation of dancers, one twirl at a time!
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Put safety first, keeping every dancer secure and supported—always
Light up classes with a big smile, infectious energy, and animated flair—correcting moves with a positive beat
Follow our tailored lesson plans to teach technique and hit curriculum goals, watching dancers leap to new heights
Shape and refine skills, helping students master their craft with poise and power
Lean on mentors and leaders to sharpen your teaching chops
Be a team player who lifts the crew with great energy and rhythm
Show up consistently for your schedule, giving dancers the stability they need to grow

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Lift up to 50 lbs with ease to support studio needs
Rely on sharp vision and hearing to keep every child safe
Navigate uneven and soft surfaces with steady steps
Move dynamically—stretching, bending, and squatting—with a strong range of motion
