Job Description:

Seeking a Surgical Technologist or an LPN with surgical experience to serve on a casual basis at Essentia Health's surgery center in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. This CST works on an as needed basis, picking up shifts to support facility needs. Hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and 9:00 am to 5:30 pm depending on surgery schedules. No weekend or on-call rotations are required.

Education Qualifications:

• Graduate from accredited surgical technologist program OR graduate of accredited practical nursing program.

What You'll Do:

Functions under the supervision of an RN in providing technical interventions in the Operating Room to patients of all ages. They are also responsible for tasks relating to instrumentation, equipment, prosthesis, and supplies. May perform other duties as assigned by the department.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• Certified as a Surgical Technologist within one year of hire OR licensed as an LPN through the state of Minnesota with surgical experience.
