In the Clinical Reviewer role, you will perform reviews of primary, preventative, and reproductive healthcare provided within school based health centers and family planning clinics, including conducting on-site observations of the clinics. The project requires an understanding and application of the associated regulations and guidelines, and use of standardized tools and databases.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, and to prioritize reviews and projects to be completed.
• Strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to gather and analyze information from records, reports, and other sources.
• Proficient in the use of standard office technology and basic Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Ability to travel to on-site review assignments within the metropolitan area (including Westchester and Long Island). There will be approximately 25 on-site days per year.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Qualified, and actively credentialed/registered in New York State (e.g. Registered Professional Nurse, Pediatric/Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician’s Assistant, etc.), required.
• A bachelor’s degree in nursing OR graduate of an approved Registered Professional Nurses training program, required.
• Two (2) years of clinical practice experience required, preferably in pediatric/adolescent/reproductive health care.
• Two (2) years of experience reviewing charts required, preferably in quality improvement or utilization review.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. The annualized salary range for this position is $75,000.00 – $90,000.00. Actual salary range and /or hourly rate depends on a variety of factors including experience, education, credentials, location, and budget.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed does not include other forms of compensation or benefits.
