Job Description

Franklin D Azar & Associates is seeking a skilled and experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to become an integral part of our team. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to apply their expertise in a growing legal practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support attorneys in all stages of Workers' Compensation case preparation and management.
• Thoroughly review and analyze medical records, insurance documents, and other pertinent information.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, medical professionals, and opposing counsel.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
• Organize, manage, and maintain case files and legal documents.
• Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Conduct legal research and stay informed of developments in Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.
• Provide administrative support to attorneys as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Workers' Compensation Paralegal.
• Proficient in legal research, case management software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
