\n
• Oversee wastewater facility operations and maintenance.
\n
• Supervise an environmental team including Wastewater Operators and grounds employees.
\n
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of team members.
\n
• Hire, train, and ensure certification and licensing of wastewater and grounds team members.
\n
• Maintain wastewater (pre-treatment and full treatment) and storm water discharges.
\n
• Ensure facility permits (NPDES, POTW and Storm-water) are up to date and compliant with recordkeeping, reporting requirements, sample collections and analyses, and safety requirements.
\n
• Communicate with Regional and Corporate environmental staff regarding environmental issues (i.e. odor complaints, out of compliance issues, operational changes, etc.).
\n
• Ensure compliance with SPCC and environmental recordkeeping.
\n
• Oversee non-hazardous spills (i.e. fuel, product, blood, etc.).
\n
• All other relevant duties as assigned.
\n

\n
• Drinking Water Operator Certificate- Grade 2
\n
• Technical certificate or relevant college courses preferred.
\n
• 2+ years wastewater maintenance and supervisory experience required.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and detail oriented.
\n
• Proficient computer and analytical skills.
\n
• Able to lead by example, coach, mentor and motivate team members.
\n
