We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, focusing on inventory management, order fulfillment, and maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will possess experience in warehouse operations and be familiar with various equipment and systems used in the industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment for materials handling.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively.
• Engage in picking and packing orders for distribution while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain organization within the warehouse by stocking products efficiently.
• Assist in inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock audits.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Participate in training on warehouse management systems such as AS400.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields.
• Familiarity with inventory management practices and systems.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment including cranes and reach trucks.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Experience with packaging, order picking, and shipping & receiving processes.
• Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety standards.
• Previous experience as a warehouse supervisor is a plus but not required.
