About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President, Fundraising and Financial Strategy to play a pivotal role in the organization's growth and mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and guiding a strategic vision that is in line with the organization's mission and operational capabilities. This includes ensuring financial stewardship, maintaining important relationships with stakeholders, and overseeing the development and maintenance of diverse funding sources such as grants, individual and major donors, and partnerships. The role also involves financial operations management, including budget preparation, financial accuracy review, and timely processing of financial transactions. Applicants for the Vice President, Fundraising and Financial Strategy position at the company should have a minimum of 8 years' of nonprofit experience, with a strong background in fundraising, donor relations, and financial management. Leadership experience of at least 8 years' is also required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nonprofit management, excellent communication skills, and a Bachelor's degree. The role demands a strategic thinker who can align financial and fundraising activities with the organization's mission, and who is adept at fostering and sustaining relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
