Guthrie Pet Hospital is looking to fill a Veterinary Assistant position!!! We're seeking a compassionate and reliable
Veterinary Assistant who's excited to work both hands-on with patients and face-to-face with clients. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys multitasking, and values both medical support and customer care
In this role, you'll assist during appointments, help prepare patients for surgery, support dental cleanings, and assist during procedures. You'll help keep medical records updated, follow treatment plans, answer client questions, and help the team stay organized and on schedule. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with both pets and people in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
This is a full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday.
Full-time benefits and compensation**: - Compensation: $14-$16 per hour, for each hour worked*
- Bonus package: $500 for those with 3+ years of consecutive, current VA experience

Minimum qualifications and skill set: - 2+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Surgical set up/clean up
- Venipuncture and SQ injections
- Lab sample processing
- Inpatient care
- Client communication and education
