Job Description\n

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This position involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patients' needs, and it includes identifying patient needs and determining priorities for care through comprehensive assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
\n
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage care of patients.
\n
• Document care based on standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
\n
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of innovative practices in care delivery.
\n
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.
\n
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
\n

\n\nSchedule\n

This position is full-time, offering 4x10 hour shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM. There are no weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• Must have at least 2 years of recent critical care and PACU experience.
\n
• Experience with telemetry is essential; tele certification required.
\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA.
\n
• NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license is required.
\n
• ASN required, with BSN preferred.
\n
