• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare jobs)\n
• Facility: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Maternal Child Health Department\n
• Assignment Type: Travel RN contract\n
• Start Date: June 1, 2025\n
• End Date: August 31, 2025\n
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks\n
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week)\n
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250\n

\n\nNICU Registered Nurse Qualifications\n

\n
• Active RN license in New York State (NYS RN license required)\n
• Associate of Applied Science in Nursing or higher (BSN preferred)\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (NICU or post-partum nursing experience preferred)\n
• BLS certification required upon hire\n
• ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire\n
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and finger movements, light lifting, and stand or walk for extended periods\n

\n\nNICU RN Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver direct patient care to neonates and mothers in the Maternal Child Health department\n
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality clinical support\n
• Perform patient assessment, data collection, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for physical, psychological, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs\n
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and guidelines (AWONN, ACOG, NNA, AORN)\n
• Operate and maintain NICU equipment and technology for optimal patient care\n
