LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry
• Discipline: RN
• Start Date: 12/01/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel

Night 3x12 7pm - 7:30 am
Every other weekend coverage required

Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required
May float to Med surg
Must be able to read strips, must have experience with vents, groin care and chest tubes
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS experience
CA license required
Accept 1st time travelers

Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills:
Interpretation of dysrhythmias
Management of dysrhythmias
Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
Telemetry - remote monitoring

Required Cardiovascular skills:
Post Cardiac Angiogram
Post MI
Pre/Post Cardiac Cath
Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery

Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills:
Blood Product Administration
Central line care/management
PICC line management
Starting IVs

Required Medication skills:
Heparin Protocols
Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration

Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills:
Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient
Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac
External CPAP/BIPAP
High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
Nasal Cannula
Non-invasive airway management
Oxygen face masks
Tracheostomy Management

RTO must be on the submittal
No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment
1 Holiday RTO must only be submitted but it is not guaranteed to be approved
Please Note: Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it’s to cancel time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13 week contract

NO MORE THAN 3 DAYS RTO MAX
