Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, NYS X-ray/CT licensure, and ARRT(CT) certification for an evening shift contract.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in a CT department operating evening shifts from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• No call or weekend shifts required
• CT technologist will perform scans with contrast and is expected to start their own IVs
• Uses Philips and Fuji Synapse PACS systems, and Paragon (Citrix Product) equipment
• COVID vaccine is not required, but proof of vaccination or declination must be provided
• Flu vaccine or declination is required, and masks must be worn by those who decline
• Day-to-day responsibilities include operating CT equipment, injecting contrast, and independently establishing IV access
• Local travelers within 60 miles are accepted

\n \n Requirements\n

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in CT/X-ray required
• Current NYS X-ray/CT license and NYS certification for contrast injection required (license required if applicable)
• ARRT(CT) certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with CT focus
• Current BLS certification required
• 2 continuing education hours on a stroke-related topic required prior to start
