Moodys NWC is looking for a Technical Product Owner peers within the Org to develop and maintain the road map for the Arch Integrations Team. You will maintain the Integrations Team’s backlog and develop technical stories working directly with the Team Lead, developers, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Work with Arch Integrations lead to develop and maintain the Team roadmap
• Work with Product, Development, and Arch stakeholders to align the Team’s backlog priorities
• Translate, organize, and prioritize the team roadmap into Initiatives, Epics, and User Stories
• Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories
• Ensure each story in the team backlog has adequate background and Acceptance Criteria
• Develop use cases and other technical documentation to support epics and user stories
• Work with the Integrations Team lead and developers to prepare for sprint planning
• Ensure that the team always has an adequate amount of work scoped for each sprint
• Actively help mitigate impediments impacting successful completion of Release/Sprint Goals
• Develop and maintain technical documentation about the team’s components and features
• Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and help mature these practices within the org
Experience and Education Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Experience with technical documentation and modeling
• Experience working with Data Engineers/BI developers delivering actionable insights via data products
• 5+ years of experience as a technical product owner
• 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies
• 2+ years’ experience coding a plus (Golang, Java, Javascript, Python, Bash, etc)
• Scrum certification and/or training
• Knowledge of banking a plus
• Knowledge of a message-broker software a plus (RabbitMQ, Kafka, IBM MQ, Apache Pulsar, etc)
• Knowledge of database/data warehousing software a plus (e.g. Snowflake)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The salary for this position ranges from $100,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to 140,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Other forms of compensation are offered in the form of medical, vision, and dental benefits.
