Server / Beertender - Grand Rapids, MI Atwater Brewery & Biergarten in downtown Grand Rapids is looking to add to the team. Our portfolio of award-winning craft beers offers something for everyone. We believe that beer should be approachable to every drinker. We're looking for a knowledgeable, personable and passionate individual to highlight our foods, beers and experiences for the Grand Rapids area. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the company's mission and corporate values. Act with honesty, respect and integrity, in the taproom and with each other. Greets and serves guests in a friendly and timely manner. Knowledgeable about beer, cocktail and food menus. Endeavors to up-sell food, beer and specials. Confident and comfortable serving tables and behind the bar. Educates guests on the company, history and the beer. Receives and processes payments on proper terminals. Delivers food and drinks to customers. Assists in keeping pub clean and following sanitation requirements. Adheres to proper hygiene. Attendance required per company policy. Performs other tasks as assigned. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year serving experience. Excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills Strong quality control skills Ability to multitask Works well independently and cooperatively in a team environment.
