Applicants for the SVP of Corporate Communications position at the company should have a minimum of 18 years' of experience in leadership roles within corporate communications and public relations, with at least 10 years' in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and a proven track record in crafting and executing successful communication strategies. Strong leadership skills, exceptional written and verbal communication, and a deep understanding of SEC and FDA regulations impacting communications are essential. The role also requires experience in crisis communication, issues management, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with media, stakeholders, and key industry influencers. The candidate should be an inspirational and trusted advisor, with the ability to lead, inspire, and mentor a team to deliver on business goals.
