*Company Overview: *Hardin Thompson PC is a rapidly expanding civil defense firm with offices in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Detroit, New York and New Jersey. Our firm is actively seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. We specialize in providing legal representation to insurance companies across a spectrum of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, contract disputes, negligent security, liquor liability, and other relevant areas.
*Position Summary: *We have an immediate opening for a motivated and client-centered Litigation Associate Attorney with a minimum of two to three years of experience in insurance defense, including trial experience. The ideal candidate thrives on taking cases to trial and possesses strong legal acumen. As a key member of our team, the Associate will collaborate closely with partners and other attorneys to develop and execute legal strategies, conduct research, and handle various legal documents.

*Responsibilities:*
* Represent insurance companies in diverse civil litigation matters, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, contract disputes, negligent security, and liquor liability.
* Conduct thorough research and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
* Collaborate with partners and fellow attorneys to formulate and implement effective legal strategies.
* Manage cases from preparation through trial, ensuring adherence to deadlines and high-quality representation.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
* Effectively manage caseloads, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
* Stay abreast of the latest developments in the law.
*Qualifications:*
* Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
* 2-3 years or more of hands-on experience in insurance defense, including trial experience.
* Strong research and writing skills, with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Demonstrated organizational prowess and effective time management.
* Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and meet deadlines with precision.
