LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Senior Design Engineer -- Metals to join their team. This is a unique chance to play a pivotal role in the design and development of advanced enclosure and component solutions. You’ll lead projects from concept through launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products to life and enhance existing offerings. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product development initiatives from initial concept through to production launch.
• Prepare and release detailed design packages and documentation.
• Analyze product requirements and design data to ensure alignment with project goals, cost targets, and industry standards.
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and validation of new product ideas.
• Drive continuous improvement by maintaining and upgrading existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and engineering change notices (ECNs).
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and testing standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on product development experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in sheet metal design and fabrication.
• Previous experience with plastic and composite materials.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency with Creo and Windchill highly desired.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (UL, ASTM, IEC, CE, RoHS).
• Experience with MS Project, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $130,000
