Overview

Senior Contracts Manager role at CGI Federal. The position can be located in Fairfax, VA or Huntsville, AL. CGI Federal values a positive, innovative, and dynamic workplace and emphasizes subcontract compliance, policy modernization, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Full life cycle management of prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Pre-award responsibilities: strategy, regulatory compliance, proposal support, agreement formation, knowledge transfer, and partner due diligence when CGI is a sub.
• Post-award responsibilities: customer relationships, negotiation, contract filing, kick-off meetings, internal collaboration, industry relationships, risk reviews, audit support, and advising the business.
• Mentor other contract management professionals and provide training as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree (advanced degree desired) plus 7+ years of experience in federal contracting.
• Individual must be clearable and may need the ability to eventually obtain a TS/SCI Poly.
• Desired credentials: CCCM, CFCM, CPCM or other relevant credentials.
• Competencies: strong business acumen, market knowledge, understanding of corporate policies and procedures, ability to collaborate with executive leadership, excellent verbal and written communication skills, deep knowledge of Federal acquisition concepts and rules, proven staff management and leadership potential, strong negotiation skills, and ability to set priorities and mentor junior staff.

• A reasonable estimate of current compensation range in the U.S. is $99,200.00 - $219,600.00.
