As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular patrols throughout the premises, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will also be expected to provide outstanding customer service, assisting individuals with inquiries and maintaining a professional presence at all times. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon07:15 AM - 06:30 PMTue07:15 AM - 06:30 PMSat08:30 AM - 01:30 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or activity within the location. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols. Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification and/or credentials as required by site-specific policies. Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed during incidents or emergencies. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. A valid Guard Card or license is preferred, and an Armed Guard Card or license is also preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
