Job Description

An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide specialized services within an elementary and middle school setting in San Francisco, CA. This contract position is designed for the summer months, focusing on a diverse caseload that meets the needs of students from June 20th to July 18th.

Qualifications:

  • Active Physical Therapy license in California
  • Experience in pediatric physical therapy, preferably in school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Commitment to professional development and best practices in therapy

Location:
San Francisco, CA

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and provide treatment for students on your caseload, ensuring tailored therapy that addresses individual needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and refine IEP goals and strategies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
  • Participate in scheduled professional development days, enhancing your skills and knowledge
  • Conduct therapy sessions in a supportive and engaging manner that fosters student growth and development
