Description Overview: The successful Sales Consultant will demonstrate the advantages and benefits of MarineMax and strategically position the company in the marketplace to sell new and used products. The Sales Consultant must recognize that business is built on long-term customer satisfaction and devote themselves to exceeding customer expectations. Prior large boat/yacht experience is necessary! Key Tasks: Enthusiastically embrace the MarineMax values Establish and maintain long-term relationships with customers before and after the sale Develop long-term relationships with customers Acquire full knowledge of the complete product line, features, and accessories available for purchase Show products in the showroom, at off-site displays or shows, and demonstrate boats on the water Follow the MarineMax sales process to improve selling skills, including prospecting for new customers and follow-up on previous contacts Input and maintain accurate customer and prospect information in the IDS system and utilize data to generate sales Accurately compute and quote sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, and license fees.
