Job Description

SkyBridge Luxury and Associates has partnered with a premier hotel to source a dynamic Executive Chef for an elevated Italian dining concept set within one of Arizona’s most exciting new luxury destinations.

We are seeking an exceptional Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations of our upscale, 300-seat dinner-only restaurant, renowned for its fusion of authentic Italian and innovative California cuisine. This establishment not only offers a premier dining experience but also features a celebrity component, attracting high-profile guests and media attention. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of both Italian culinary traditions and California's seasonal, ingredient-driven approach, with a proven ability to manage large-scale kitchen operations in a high-pressure, high-visibility environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Development & Execution: Design and implement a dynamic menu that marries traditional Italian dishes with California's fresh, seasonal ingredients. Regularly update offerings to reflect current trends and guest preferences.
  • Kitchen Leadership: Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Lead, train, and mentor a team of chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Operational Management: Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain cost control and ensure the availability of premium ingredients. Monitor food costs and implement strategies to minimize waste.
  • Celebrity Engagement: Collaborate with celebrity partners and high-profile guests, ensuring their dining experiences are exceptional. Maintain discretion and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all kitchen operations comply with local health and safety regulations. Implement and maintain rigorous sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Event Collaboration: Work closely with the front-of-house and event planning teams to coordinate special events, private dinners, and media appearances, aligning culinary offerings with the restaurant's brand and guest expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a senior culinary leadership role within a high-volume, fine dining establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of Italian and California cuisines, with a focus on seasonal ingredients and contemporary cooking techniques.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop culinary talent.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with celebrity clientele and understanding the nuances of high-profile dining experiences.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 per year
