Works in collaboration with area schools of nursing to coordinate student clinical and/or didactic educational experiences at Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics.

\n\nResponsibilities:\n
  • Assists students to develop essential pediatric nursing knowledge and skills in order to provide safe, high quality patient and family care.
  • Designs and develops effective student pediatric learning experiences in collaboration with faculty at designated schools of nursing.
  • Develops and maintains positive professional relationships between clinical staff, leaders, and students.
\n\nQualifications:\n
  • Bachelor's Degree (BSN) required and enrolled in MSN program (preferred) or enrolled in Masters program that is healthcare related. and 3-5 years experience pediatric nursing (hospital or ambulatory setting).
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - Kansas, Registered Nurse Multistate License Kansas required upon hire
  • One of the following: Licensed RN - MO, Registered Nurse Multistate License Missouri required upon hire
  • RN Compact license for all states besides KS and MO
  • Refer to Nursing and Advanced Practice Provider Licensure and Certification policy for required Life Support Certifications Required Upon Hire

Our pay ranges are market competitive. The pay range for this job begins at $34.43/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience.
