A Peaceful Pack is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Ranch Support - Dog Daycare and Boarding Team Member. In this vital role, you will help provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for our furry guests while supporting our operations at our ranch. Our mission is to ensure that every dog receives individualized attention and care during their stay. You will have the opportunity to work closely with animals of various breeds and temperaments, creating enriching activities and experiences that prioritize their well-being and happiness. The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a deep love for dogs, a sense of responsibility, and excellent communication skills. • Assist with the daily care and supervision of dogs in daycare and boarding facilities
• Provide a safe and clean environment by maintaining facility cleanliness and organization
• Administer basic first aid and monitor the health and behavior of all dogs
• Engage dogs in play and exercise to ensure physical and mental stimulation
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding services and their dog's needs
• Implement feeding schedules and special dietary requirements as directed by owners
• Assist with record-keeping, including updating dog profiles and incident reports

Requirements

• Passion for animals and a strong desire to work with dogs
• Previous experience in a daycare, boarding, or veterinary setting preferred
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pet owners and colleagues
• Capable of handling dogs of various sizes and temperaments responsibly
• Basic knowledge of canine behavior and handling techniques
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Benefits

• Starting pay at $10.00 per hour during probation, with potential increases post-probation.
• Monthly raises of 1.5%, capping at $13.50 per hour, based on performance and dedication.
