Job Description

The College of Westchester (CW), an Associate degree- and Baccalaureate degree-granting college is seeking dedicated and experienced healthcare professionals to join our adjunct faculty team in the School of Health Professions. We are expanding programs in Public Health, Medical Assisting, and Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN), and we invite qualified candidates with both academic credentials and practical experience to apply.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (Doctorate preferred for Public Health courses).

• Current RN or LPN licensure (for Nursing and Medical Assisting instruction).

• Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in healthcare practice, administration, or clinical education.

• Prior teaching experience at the college level preferred, but not required—training and mentorship provided.

• Commitment to student success, hands-on learning, and professional preparation.

Courses may include:

• Public Health Issues and Practices

• Healthcare Law & Ethics

• Medical Assisting Clinical and Administrative Skills

• Anatomy & Physiology

• Nursing Fundamentals (LPN Certificate)

• Patient Care, Safety, and Professionalism

Course Compensation is $2,000
