The Production Control Analyst position requires a blend of technical knowledge, organizational skills, a high degree of analytical and statistical analysis and the ability to work well within a team. The primary focus is on coordinating the various components of production, data compilation and visualization while ensuring that production goals are met and within budget. The Production Control Coordinator expedites and coordinates the flow of work and materials within or between departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Working closely with the Production Manager, the Production Control Analysist ensures that inventory levels are accurate, material is staged/ready for production, jobs are running efficiently, production data entry is accurate, and jobs are closed and costed accurately. Key responsibilities include scheduling, material staging, communication, documentation, problem solving, turning raw data into actionable insights and support role.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Uphold the company’s core values and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Effectively plan and coordinate daily production schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet delivery targets.
• Proactively identify scheduling conflicts or inefficiencies and adjust plans to maintain productivity.
• Accurately track material needs and proactively communicate shortages to avoid production delays.
• Create job/work orders.
• Close and review job/work orders
• Regularly monitor and analyze production KPIs to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
• Ensure inventory is stored in a proper and efficient manner / Inventory control and traceability.
• Ensure that operating procedures and work instructions are followed.
• Ensure Quality standards and procedures of manufactured product are being followed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for cost savings, waste reduction, and workflow enhancements.
• Communicate clearly and effectively across departments and shifts.
• Work with Engineering to plan and execute projects.
• Complete reports and other records as required.
• Maintains organized records and ensures timely completion of required production and compliance documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Operational & Technical Competence

• Demonstrates strong proficiency in ERP / SAP systems to manage work orders, inventory levels, and production status.
• Maintains a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, ensuring smooth coordination between departments and minimal downtime.
• Excellent computer proficiency with data visualization in programs such as Tableau, Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
• Proactive approach to tasks with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Root cause analysis for identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Understanding of company key KPI’s and metrics such as efficiency and overconsumption.
• Ability to perform demand planning and forecasting to track and monitor product trends and use data to establish production goals.
