TekSystems  is hiring  Patient Registration Representatives for a large healthcare system in  Carmel, IN !

We are seeking a compassionate and tech-savvy Patient Access Representative to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a vital part in creating a warm, welcoming, and efficient experience across multiple care settings, including the Emergency Department, outpatient clinics, and inpatient admissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver Exceptional Patient Experience: Greet and assist patients with empathy and professionalism across various hospital entry points including triage, ambulance bay, and bedside registration.
• Accurate Patient Registration: Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information in the EMR system with precision.
• Support Across Care Settings: Perform check-in and registration duties in emergency, outpatient, and inpatient environments, including travel to bedside locations when needed.
• Technology & Documentation: Utilize portable computers for bedside registration, support self-pay processes, and complete required documentation for Medicare patients.
• Shift: 7am-7pm

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Empathetic and passionate about helping others
• Comfortable with technology and EMR systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
