Location(s): Chelmsford, MA / Bedford, MA

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour

Schedule: Part Time, 2nd or 3rd shift (Mon & Tues / Fri & Sat)

Job Summary:  

 

Securitas USA is seeking reliable and professional Part-Time Security Officers to join our team at a high-profile facility dedicated to scientific innovation and research. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all employees, visitors, and assets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor facility access points to prevent unauthorized entry.

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including interior and exterior areas.

• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations in a calm and effective manner.

• Enforce site safety and security policies and procedures.

• Report and document security incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs.

• Operate security systems including CCTV, access control, and visitor management systems.

• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a visible and professional presence.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Strong observation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

• Ability to remain alert, focused, and courteous during shift hours.

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical duties as needed.

• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with security technology a plus.
