$230,000.00/yr - $280,000.00/yr

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Affairs Director to lead strategic and tactical initiatives in the virology/COVID-19 therapeutic area. This role is ideal for a medical professional with a strong background in medical strategy, scientific communications, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll play a key role in shaping the medical vision, supporting product development, and ensuring scientific excellence across all communications and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Support the development and execution of U.S. medical strategy and pre-launch planning for virology/COVID-19 programs.
• Provide medical review and sign-off on product and disease state communications, ensuring scientific accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to provide medical insights for marketing materials and strategic initiatives.
• Oversee scientific communications, including publications, CME programs, and congress planning.
• Lead engagement with key opinion leaders (KOLs), including selection, relationship management, and strategic collaboration..
• Design and lead real-world evidence (RWE), epidemiological, and systematic literature review (SLR) studies.
• Participate in grant reviews and advisory committees as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) in a relevant scientific or medical field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in Medical Affairs within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
• Prior experience in Virology. Experience in COVID-19, and/or Vaccines is strongly preferred
• Prior US launch experience in Medical Affairs preferred
