Position Title: Material Handler/Forklift Operator

Wage: $21.00 - $23.00/Hour

Shift: 1st or 2nd Shift 

Hours: 4:50 AM - 2:50 PM or 2:40 PM - 12:40 AM (Monday – Thursday), Overtime as Needed on Fridays

Material Handler/Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Gets work assignment from Supervisor or Lead person
- Moves materials, parts, and products – using forklift, reach trucks, order pickers, and/or carts with assistance as needed
- Picks and packs service parts – with assistance and training as needed
- Accurately tracks parts, products, and materials according to procedures using system tools, with assistance as needed
- Perform housekeeping duties and maintain workplace organization standards
- Performs cycle counting for both parts and machines, with assistance as needed
- Assists other work areas or departments as needed
- Has the ability to work in a group setting, teamwork
- Consistently assists others as needed to promote safety, quality and productivity

Requirements For Material Handler/Forklift Operator:
- Picks parts for orders within the plant using various replenishment methods
- Labels, puts away and processes all incoming parts for stock into the correct storage location per SAP
- Operates material handling equipment (i.e. Forklifts, reach trucks, pack mule carts) as required
- English literacy
- Basic math skills / ability to do this job
- Basic instruction reading skills/ability to do this job
- Proficiency in using basic gauges and measuring instruments
- Physical ability to do the job
