Manufacturing Engineer 2

JOB TYPE:

W2 Full Time Ongoing Contract

LOCATION:

Mapleton (foundry), IL

JOB SUMMARY FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER 2:

• Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer 2 for a manufacturing client based out of Mapleton, IL.
• Onsite 4days/week 5am-3pm CST Full Time
• Pay Range: $28.82-$34.01hr

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER 2:

• Operate a production intent research cell to produce production casting samples. Evaluations on DOE to determine applicable process criteria (temperature, RPM, mold materials, extraction times, coating)
• Prepare/ Startup equipment for the day
• Document results from prior day experiments and findings
• Execute the daily DOE task
• Hand off to counterpart on trailing shift

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER 2:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 2-4 years industrial experience required.
• Willing to accept Associate’s degree with 4+ years experience
• Master’s degree would be overqualified
• Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
• Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD)

• Familiarity with Foundry processes

• Relevant experience

• Familiarity with machining processes
