We're looking for a reliable, detail-driven Mail Processor to join our fast-paced team in Syosset, NY. If you enjoy working with machines, staying organized, and making sure every piece of mail gets where it’s supposed to go, this could be the perfect fit.
What You’ll Do:
Operate high-speed mail inserting machines to assemble, fold, and seal a variety of mailings.
Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues like paper jams or feeding errors.
Perform light equipment maintenance to keep things running smoothly.
Coordinate with the mailroom team to prioritize tasks and hit daily production goals.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Keep your work area tidy and organized, disposing of waste and recycling as needed.
Assist with weekly post office pickups and end-of-day mail drop-offs.
Maintain printers by checking paper and toner levels and performing basic upkeep.
What You Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience with mail inserting equipment is a plus—but we’ll train the right person.
Ability to lift heavy boxes or trays of mail (we keep you moving!).
Sharp attention to detail and pride in doing things right the first time.
Good communication skills and a positive, team-first attitude.
Flexibility to adjust your schedule when needed to meet tight deadlines.
