Backpack Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team. The LMSW will provide professional social work services, including counseling, and advocacy, to children and families in need. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized service plans.
  • Provide counseling and support to clients dealing with mental health, social, and emotional challenges.
  • Advocate for clients and connect them with appropriate community resources and services.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers, government agencies, and community organizations to coordinate client care.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
  • Educate clients and their families about coping strategies, available services, and support networks.
  • Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current LMSW or LPC-R license in Georgia
  • Strong knowledge of social work principles, ethics, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) software/other relevant software.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
