Lifeguard

Position: Outdoor Pool/Year-Round Lifeguard

Reports to: Head Lifeguard/Pool Manager/Aquatics Manager

Salary Range: $14.75-16.69/hour

Whether you're soaking up the sun in our outdoor pools or keeping things afloat year-round indoors, your role is vital in keeping our aquatic spaces fun, friendly, and, most importantly, safe.

Your Mission:

• Stay Vigilant: Keep a watchful eye on all swimmers, ensuring their safety and acting swiftly in emergencies.
• Be a Hero: Jump into action and provide lifesaving care when needed, including CPR and first aid until medical professionals arrive.
• Bring the Vibes: Maintain a friendly, professional attitude and make guests feel welcome and secure.
• Keep it Clean: Help maintain a safe, tidy, and enjoyable pool
• Stay on Top of Things: Complete reports and paperwork as needed
• Never Stop Learning: Attend monthly in-service training to keep your lifeguarding skills sharp and up to date.

What You'll Need to Join the Team:

• Must be 15 years old by your start date.
• Red Cross Lifeguard Certification is preferred-but don't worry, we offer FREE training for applicants who ace their interview and swim test.

• Stay cool under pressure and respond quickly to emergencies
• Master lifeguarding surveillance and rescue
• Be physically prepared to pass a swimming
• Know (or be ready to learn!) CPR and emergency
