Library Assistant- Children’s Dept
Due to a promotion, the Morse Institute Library is accepting applications for a Library Assistant-Children's position. The Morse Institute Library is a library with strong community support in the town of Natick. This position will focus on providing excellent, friendly customer service to children and their caregivers, and also assist with the basic cataloging and processing of children’s materials. Evening and weekend work is required. The successful candidate will have a strong customer service background with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be detail oriented, and possess the ability to work well in a team environment. Previous library experience, bilingual abilities, and knowledge of Sierra ILS software is preferred, but not required. This is a part-time, 18 hr/week, non-benefited position starting at $23.41/hr. While this is a non-benefited position, the successful candidate is still eligible for pro-rated sick, vacation, and personal leave upon completion of the probationary period.
