Job Description

Title: Junior Business Analyst (UX Designer)

Location: Hybrid on-site 3x per week in Center City, Philadelphia

Duration: 6 month contract to FTE

Compensation : $35/hr to $42/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Healthcare benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, financial protection benefits, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options. 401k retirement account access is offered starting on the 90th day with employer matching after one year of service. Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Business Analyst (UX Design) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business needs and user experience design, helping to shape intuitive, user-centered digital solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, designers, and developers to gather and document requirements, analyze data, and support the delivery of high-quality user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and user requirements for UX design projects.
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, wireframes, and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate and lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews to gather insights and align on project goals.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure requirements are accurately reflected in design prototypes and mockups.
  • Utilize tools such as Figma , Visual Studio , and SQL to support design and development processes.
  • Analyze and interpret data trends to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and functionality of implemented solutions.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving business challenges through data-driven insights and user feedback.
  • Support the development team by clarifying requirements and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in Business Analysis , Business Systems Analysis , Business Data Analysis , or UX Design .
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements for UX-focused projects.
  • Familiarity with UX design tools and technologies, including Figma , Visual Studio , and SQL .
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders and facilitate productive discussions.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development principles.
