Qualifications needed: Successful candidates must be highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail. Highly skilled at leading group discussions, with excellent coordination skills and focus on follow-through. Excellent listening, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for both technical and non- audiences. Able to mentor less senior team members and coach scrum teams on project management activities and agile practices. Able to contribute to a collaborative culture and positive work environment.
What you will do: Lead skilled teams in end-to-end project delivery for high-visibility initiatives, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Traverse between classic waterfall, agile and hybrid project management depending on the requirements of the initiative. Prepare project documentation i.e. charters, timelines, RAID logs, status reports and stakeholder communication plans. Prepare and communicate project status at various levels from team to executive steering. Lead project meetings/agile ceremonies. Track project metrics. Prepare and participate in weekly and quarterly cross team project intake and commitment ceremonies. Mentor less senior team members. Active participation in PMO continuous process improvement.
Experience required: Epic Application experience desired. 5-10 years of project management experience, including 3+ years in a Scrum Master or Agile delivery role. Experience with project management and agile planning tools.
Education requirements: Bachelors required.
License/certification requirements: Project Management Institute PMP Certification (PMP) desired or 10 years of project management experience in lieu of certification. Scrum Master Certification (SCM) desired or 3+ years equivalent experience in scrum master role.
Special requirements: Information Services/Technology experience. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
