Our software suite sits at the nexus of Human-Machine Interface & Autonomy Behaviors. We are searching for a Human Factors Engineer who has experience with Systems Engineering to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have the experience and knowledge of human factors, aviation operations, human physiology, and design. Key Responsibilities: Provide Human Factors technical expertise in the development of advanced user-interface technologies and the integration of human users within automated or autonomous subsystems with a concentration on workflow and ultra-modern designs. Assess and evaluate requirements in alignment with Human Factors best practices and industry standards. Conduct Human Factors analyses, including task analyses, predictive workload assessments, usability studies, workload evaluations, and situational awareness assessments. Develop and maintain program documentation for Human Factors Engineering (HFE) processes and deliverables. Ensure that system designs meet program requirements and adhere to Human Interface design standards. Develop and implement human performance research methodologies, investigative approaches, and analytical protocols. Collaborate on system operating procedures and training requirements to optimize human-machine interactions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, Systems Engineering or related field 3+ Years of Human Factors Engineering and Systems Engineering experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement Proficiency in writing and executing demonstration & test procedures Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Factors, Systems Engineering or related field Active SECRET DoD security clearance 5+ years of Human Factors Engineering and Systems Engineering experience Experience developing, administering and/or analyzing Human Factors questionnaires such as Usability, Workload, and Situational Awareness. Experience in system modeling tools (i.e. Cameo) Understand systems and design thinking as well as HMI/HCI design principles and practices Salary Range: $110,000 - $180,000 Travel: This position will likely involve travel to customer and non-customer sites principally in North America (up to 20%), but global travel is also possible.
