We support customers with Centers of Excellence in Washington DC, Huntsville, AL, and Burlington, MA, along with 36 additional locations across the U.S. Overview We are seeking a Human Factors Engineer to support the Redstone Test and Engineering Services contract, specifically within the Cargo/Fixed Wing Division. Job Details Location: Redstone Arsenal, AL Status: Full-Time Travel: Up to 20% Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Factors Engineering or related discipline from an accredited institution, with 6 years of experience in developing, testing, and evaluating user interface designs and prototypes. Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA Class III medical certificate. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required). Preferred Qualifications Experience in rotary-wing or fixed-wing flight testing, or related disciplines. Responsibilities Plan, execute, analyze data, and report on human factors engineering related to testing man-machine interfaces in combat systems. Investigate and evaluate man-machine relationships in developmental and operational tests. Develop test procedures and methodologies to assess man-machine aspects of systems. Stay informed about current developmental programs and assist in document development for testing standards. Prepare reports and provide recommendations on equipment design and performance. Consult with management on human factors considerations in design, testing, and analysis. Collaborate with a team of engineers and test pilots. Provide technical expertise on testing methods and deliver presentations to stakeholders. Manage test projects concerning schedule and budget.
