Position Overview

Fantastic internship opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in graphic design across various mediums, including digital, print, and web. You will work closely with our marketing team and design team to support ongoing projects and campaigns, contributing fresh ideas and designs that align with our brand and marketing goals. We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Designer Intern with strong skills in brochure design and UI/UX for website development. In this role, you will collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create high-quality visual assets that align with our brand and marketing strategies, while also contributing to website design projects for optimal user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Google My Business (GMB) Management: Regularly update and maintain the company’s GMB profile for an accurate and professional presence.
  • Brochure Design: Develop visually compelling brochures and other print assets to support marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.
  • Website UI/UX Design: Collaborate on website projects, ensuring user-friendly, modern, and visually appealing designs.
  • Newsletter Design: Assist in designing and distributing visually engaging company newsletters.
  • Content Creation: Create and produce visual content for social media, websites, email campaigns, and marketing materials.
  • Digital and Print Assets: Design banners, flyers, infographics, presentations, and other graphics for both digital and print media.
  • Branding Initiatives: Support branding campaigns by developing innovative visual elements.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all design projects adhere to established brand guidelines across platforms.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with teams from product, sales, and customer service to understand and fulfill graphic needs.
  • Feedback & Refinement: Edit and refine designs based on feedback from the marketing and design teams.
  • Asset Management: Maintain an organized library of graphic assets and files.
  • Brainstorming: Contribute creative ideas during team brainstorming sessions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Design Tools Expertise: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, or equivalent tools.
  • UI/UX Skills: Familiarity with website design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and an understanding of user experience principles.
  • Brochure Design: Experience in designing engaging brochures and print materials for marketing purposes.
  • Creativity: A detail-oriented mindset with a passion for visual storytelling and innovative design.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to receive and implement feedback effectively.
  • Bonus Skills: Familiarity with video editing or motion graphics is a plus.
  • Multitasking: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Language Proficiency: Mandarin proficiency is preferred to collaborate effectively with global teams.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional late-night or early-morning meetings with HQ.
  • Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting heavy items for shows or exhibitions when needed.
