Star Children’s Dress Company designs and produces fashionable yet affordable dresses for girls. With offices in New York City and a distribution center in Amelia, Virginia, we pride ourselves on creativity, quality, and a mission to bring joy through design.

Position Overview:

We’re seeking a Graphic Design Intern to join our creative team in New York. This internship offers hands-on experience in fashion and retail branding, working closely with our design teams. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented individual with a strong sense of visual design and a passion for children’s fashion. Outstanding interns may be offered a full-time position after the internship concludes.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design team in developing graphics, prints, seasonal lookbooks, packaging, and product tags.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute new design ideas.
• Organize and manage digital assets and design files.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Strong eye for layout, typography, and color.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work on-site at our New York office.

Preferred Skills:

• Interest in fashion, retail, or children’s apparel.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Paid internship (hourly rate at $16.50 (2025) -> $17/hr (2026).
• Full-time summer or part-time during the school year.
• Potential for a full-time Graphic Designer role upon successful completion of the internship.
