We are passionate, innovative, and driven to make a unique and transformative mark on the field of autism early intervention. With that, we are currently looking for individuals to work on our teams and provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to sweet, young children with autism. We will assist you in becoming a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), as this is required by insurance companies, our payor.Technicians will work under the guidance and supervision of a board certified and licensed behavior analysts. Applicants will deliver ABA (applied behavior analysis) intervention directly to children through the age of kindergarten using a variety of methodologies. Playfulness, an ability to genuinely connect with children, experience with toddlers & preschoolers, and a passion for autism and children under the age of six is essential. Prior experience working with children with autism as young as 2 years old is desired. Essential Physical Requirements of a Registered Behavior Technician:Ability to lift and carry 45 poundsClimbing on playground equipmentEngage in physical play with children which may include: running/swinging/spinning/crawling/squatting with childrenMaintain elevated heart rate during therapy sessions with childrenMust be able to run faster than a 5 year oldPicking up and transporting children safely up to 100 yards in distanceWalking up and down stairs multiple times a dayPushing and pulling children up to 45 pounds on wagons, wheel chairs, baskets, etc.Repeated bending over assisting or playing with childrenFine motor dexteritySinging, dancing, clapping is expectedSitting on the floor without back support for extended periodsA bachelor's degree and prior experience working one-on-one with young children on the spectrum is required. Experience with the following job duties is preferred:Carrying out behavior intervention programs in a one-on-one situationTaking data on progress made within a set of goalsProviding positive behavior supports to reduce unwanted behaviorsUtilizing relationship-based techniques to increase and maintain active engagementUtilizing applied behavior analytical strategies (ABA) to teach skillsOur team is close and supportive and we're looking for the right fit above all else.
