Masterminding is revolutionizing education through AI-powered personalized learning.

Masterminding is an AI-powered platform transforming how teachers plan lessons and how students learn. While most industries have been revolutionized by technology, teachers remain burdened by time-consuming, manual lesson planning—leaving students stuck with outdated, one-size-fits-all education.

We’re changing that. With Masterminding, teachers generate adaptive, multimodal lesson plans in just minutes, saving hours each week and personalizing learning for every student—even those who haven’t thrived with traditional methods. Our solution is already piloted in schools, including Orion Academy, where teachers are seeing students with autism engage and succeed for the first time.

About the Role + Roadmap

We're seeking a Front-End Developer who thrives in the fast-paced startup environment and can ship exceptional user experiences at lightning speed. This isn't your typical dev role—you'll be working directly with our founding team to skyrocket Masterminding!

• Re-architecting the teacher dashboard in React/Next.js + TypeScript (12-week milestone).
• Shipping interactive components for lesson-plan creation, live student feedback, and analytics.
• Document and advocate for best front-end practices as we grow
• Working hybrid (2 days/week) in an incubator, and remote the rest.
• Pairing with our ML team to productionize Gen-AI features.

The rest of what the role looks like is up to you - a big part of our approach is that you get to chart your path as we grow and evolve. There's a lot of green field to conquer, we trust that you'll make a lot of it your own :)

About You

• CS student (at UCSB) or recent grad with React/Next.js proficiency
• Expert at AI-assisted development (Cursor/Copilot) - you ship 10x faster
• Available full-time for summer (July-September 2025)
• Comfortable with startup pace and ambiguity
• [Nice-to-have] Figma & UX/UI understanding
• [Nice-to-have] EdTech interest, teaching experience, or education passion
