Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Operator for our client in Monroe Township, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st & 2nd Shifts Available
• 8AM - 4:30PM
• 4:30PM - 12AM
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate:

• $19 - $20 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to safely handle, move, and transport materials throughout the warehouse using powered industrial equipment. This role requires strong forklift experience, flexibility with scheduling, and the ability to support daily warehouse operations while maintaining accuracy and safety. Candidates must be partially bilingual and able to work overtime as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts such as Cherry Picker (primary machine) and Reach Truck to move, stage, and organize materials
• Load and unload trailers, trucks, and pallets safely and efficiently
• Transport products to and from storage areas, production stations, and shipping zones
• Review picking lists, work orders, or shipping documents to fulfill tasks accurately
• Inspect materials for damage, discrepancies, or safety concerns before and after movement
• Secure loads and ensure proper pallet stacking for safe transport
• Perform basic equipment checks and report mechanical issues immediately
• Maintain accurate counts of moved materials and update activity logs or scanners
• Follow all warehouse safety standards, operating guidelines, and company procedures
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed to support team operations.

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
• Minimum of 3 years of forklift experience required
• Cherry Picker experience required
• Reach Truck experience a strong plus
• Ability to work flexible hours and be available for overtime
• Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and operating warehouse equipment safely
• Familiarity with handheld scanners and basic computer use
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and a commitment to safety
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
